I just wanted to say thank you Zeph for posting this pattern for free, from my brief look the instruction looks great, I’m really looking forward to knitting it.

It is an excepted knitting technique often used with short rows, so you will find it in most sock knitting books.

yes. explain exactly what you mean by wrap and turn. is there a yarn over in that? wrapping what? thanks

Thankyou for your comment. It made me think closely about how I wrote the ‘Short Row Pattern’ section above. I have reworded it in an effort to make it clearer.

Comments on clarity are always welcome!
Is the pattern ok to follow, or should I rework it some more?

I am not an accomplished knitter, but I can read a pattern.
I am taking a class and even the instructor cannot figure out how you can leave seven stitches on the left needle and continue to knit the remaining stiches. Refer to round 6 of the short row pattern.

Looking forward to and explancation.

Super pattern! I didn’t wash it, so the hat kept the fabulous Shibori look with none of the shibori hassle. Thanks again for sharing such a great pattern.
