Small Felted Bag

Bags, Finished Objects

felted phone or ipod pouchIn between thinking about charts and hats, this little draw string pouch happened. I wanted to practice a cast-on for toe-up socks and deliberately felt the result. I used some leftover Noro for the bag, then made a fingerloop braid for the drawstring. Once the bag had been felted, I embroidered a basic chain stitch swirl onto one side.

It fits mobile phones and some ipods, but to start with it’s going to hold mini dpns, needles and stitch markers.

I guess this may pass for a pattern… just!
